Significantly Better Fuel Economy using a Genuine Holset Turbo

A fundamental benefit of using a genuine Holset Turbocharger is improved fuel consumption. This is particularly important for our customers in a time of soaring diesel prices.

The current economic climate provided a timely opportunity to conduct a field test to compare the fuel savings properties of a genuine Holset Turbocharger with those of a counterfeit turbocharger.

The test, which took place in China and was adjudicated by the Wuxi Institute of Supervision and Testing on Product Quality, invovled a truck driver following a set route. Once the route was completed, the turbocharger was switched and the driver repeated the test in the same vehicle, under the same driving conditions.

The Results showed a signigicant difference in fuel economy, with the genuine Holset turbocharger recording a huge 12% increase in fuel economy compared to its counterfeit equivalent.

This clearly demonstrates that counterfeit turbochargers come at a price; they may seem a cheap option but in the longer term, you will be out of pocket on fuel consumption.
