  Turbo Troubleshooting

  If your engine is not operating properly you should not assume that the turbocharger is at fault. In many cases a turbocharger is replaced when the fault is engine related. Installing a new turbocharger when the fault is not really known can cause damage to the new turbo if the fault was not in the original turbocharger to begin with. Use the Turbocharger Diagnostic Charts to establish the problem before removing the turbocharger from your engine.
